The Bank of Delmarva presents Peter White with Mindi Abair
....opening the evening is Kim Waters
Peter White is clearly a musician at the top of his form. His contemporaries call on him to sprinkle his magic dust on their CDs, festivals book him to draw bodies and his fans count the days until the next batch of songs.
And at a time of sagging sales for contemporary and smooth jazz, pop-inspired saxophonist Mindi Abair has brought the cool factor back onto the jazz scene. With her heavy emphasis on the sounds of R&B and dance music as well as pop and rock, her jazz tunes defy categorization.
For two decades saxophonist, composer and producer Kim Waters has been one of the premier architects of Urban Smooth Jazz and a beacon of light in contemporary jazz. Celebrating his 20th anniversary, Kim has garnered praise from critics and fans alike, amassing record sales of over a million albums and ranks among the top five best-selling instrumentalists in jazz.
